Questions, answered.
Our team has seen just about everything roll through the tunnel. Here's what people usually ask — and if yours isn't here, just ask in person.
Vehicles
What vehicles can you wash?
Most cars, trucks, and SUVs sail right through — F-250s and F-350s included — as long as the suspension and wheelbase are stock and you clear our 7'1" height limit. To be clear, the Ford Raptor, RAM TRX, Hummer EV, and Hummer H1 are too wide for our tunnel — we cannot wash them, no exceptions. By manufacturer recommendation we also skip the Corvette C8 — those side intake vents aren't meant for a tunnel wash. Lifted trucks, duallys, limos, roof racks, hitch attachments, plows, and heavy mods are out too. Very low cars, as well — if it's too low for a speed bump, it's probably too low for us — and vehicles more than five years old enter at their own risk.
For the modified-car crowd who speak the language: the widest we comfortably fit is about a 325-section tire (roughly 12.8 inches), well inside the 14-inch guide rails on our MacNeil conveyor. We're car enthusiasts ourselves — we won't run any chemistry we wouldn't put on our own paint — and those guide rails are wrapped in wheel-safe protectors, so you can ride your rims against them without harming your car. (We'd rather you didn't, though — people do it anyway, and we replace those protectors a lot. See what we did there.)
Can you wash lowered cars?
Usually, yes — at the owner's risk. We need roughly four inches of ground clearance. It's hard to judge without seeing the car, so our staff will take a look before you pull in. We'd rather spend an extra minute checking than ruin anyone's day.
What about pickup trucks?
Absolutely — just make sure the bed is completely empty before entering. Loose items can fly out during the wash and damage other vehicles or our equipment, and anything left in the bed is the customer's responsibility.
Will you wash a car with pre-existing damage?
Case by case. Our staff may decline if the damage could worsen or interfere with the equipment. If we do wash it, it's at the owner's risk — and we'll always be upfront if something looks questionable.
Membership
How does the membership work?
Your license plate is your membership. Cameras at the entry lane read your plate to verify your membership and speed up your visit — no stickers or cards to fumble with. One membership covers one vehicle, with unlimited exterior washes all month.
Can I add another vehicle?
Absolutely — add as many as you like. Each membership covers one vehicle, and every additional vehicle on your account gets 10% off its monthly membership. Set it up in the customer portal or ask a team member at the wash.
I got a new car. What do I do?
Your membership is tied to the vehicle, so just update your plate in the customer portal, or ask our assistant Maggie or any team member at the wash and we'll switch it over. Temporary tags work too.
Do I have to be a member to get full service?
No — full service is open to everyone as a walk-in. Members do get $10 off every full-service wash, which is one of the better reasons to join.
The wash itself
Is it a touchless wash?
No — we're a soft-touch wash, and deliberately so. We run MacNeil equipment with NeoGlide closed-cell foam, designed to fling dirt away rather than trap it, and we maintain it religiously. Soft touch cleans better than touchless, and our equipment, chemistry, and upkeep are chosen to protect your finish.
What kind of soaps and chemicals do you use?
Lab-tested, eco-friendly, pH-balanced chemistry. Nothing acidic, caustic, or strong enough to damage anything on your vehicle. Tough on dirt, gentle on paint.
What is ceramic glaze?
A $6 add-on applied in the tunnel: SlipStream, an Australian-made SiO2 glaze that adds a light hydrophobic coating, deep shine, and a slick finish — water beads right off. We put real work into our chemistry — every formula is lab-tested for our water — and recommend the glaze two to four times a month to keep your clear coat protected. It looks better on a car that's washed often.
Will a wash remove bird droppings, tree sap, or baked-on brake dust?
Honestly, probably not — and most carwashes can't either. That kind of contamination bonds to paint over time and needs extra care to remove safely. A wash helps loosen it, but the real advice is simple: the sooner you wash after something lands on your car, the better the odds it comes off clean.
Do you offer detailing?
No — and that's a deliberate choice. We focus on doing one thing exceptionally well: fast, consistent washes that keep you under $100 and back on the road, not tied up in a shop for half a day. Detailing is a different business — slower, pricier, and more variable — and chasing it would pull us away from the on-the-go service our customers count on. If you need a full interior detail or paint correction, just ask and we'll happily point you to someone good.
Still have a question?
Stop by and talk to the crew, or give us a call. We're happy to take a look at your vehicle before you pull in.
